EAA Aerosol Recycling & Sustainability Event at Somerset Patriots Stadium a big hit!

On June 9, the Eastern Aerosol Association (EAA) held its inaugural “Aerosol Recycling & Sustainability Event” at the Somerset Patriots Stadium, TD Bank Ballpark, Bridgewater, NJ.

HCPA’s Blessing talks Aerosol Recycling to the group…

The guest speaker was Molly Blessing, Director of Sustainability for the Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA). She will provided an overview of aerosol waste management and recovery initiatives , focusing on aerosol recycling, Extended Producer Responsibility and the HCPA’s and Can Manufacturers Institute’s progress in getting aerosols added to universal waste State regulations.

The evening also included buffet dinner, networking with colleagues, concert ticket raffles, a 50-50 raffle and an exciting baseball game between New York Yankees Double-A Affiliate Somerset Patriots and Cleveland Guardians Double-A Affiliate Akron Rubber Ducks. The Somerset Patriots won!

The EAA also sponsored its infamous Aerosol Can Recycle Race, wherein life-sized aerosol cans compete to put their smaller versions into recycling bins.
