PCPC appoints Manoso as General Counsel

The Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) has appointed Emily Manoso as Executive VP, Legal & Regulatory Affairs and General Counsel. Manoso has a background in cosmetics and personal care products regulatory and legal issues, having previously worked as PCPC’s Associate General Counsel and Staff Counsel. More recently, Manoso worked as a trial attorney for the U.S. Dept. of Justice (DOJ).

“Her diverse and extensive expertise will be instrumental in navigating our industry’s complex legal and regulatory landscape, enhancing our support to member companies.”

At DOJ, Manoso advocated for the U.S. Secretary of Health & Human Services in cases brought under the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act. She started her legal career in private practice and as an assistant district attorney.  

Manoso earned her bachelor’s degree with distinction from the University of Virginia and her J.D. from the George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School. She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.
