The American Cleaning Institute (ACI), the trade association for the U.S. cleaning product supply chain, announced the appointment of Leandro Ruiz Fernandez as Policy Manager, Government Affairs.

Ruiz graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University (Miami, FL) with a B.A. in history before attending George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management (Washington, D.C.).
“In fast-moving regulatory and legislative environments, Leandro’s experience will help us expand our policymaking footprint across both federal and state jurisdictions,” said Doug Troutman, Interim Co-CEO and Senior VP, Government Affairs.
“We’re happy to welcome him to ACI’s Government Affairs team.”
