The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) is accepting nominations through the month of July for its 2025 Achievement Awards. The awards will be presented to selected recipients at special events throughout the 79th Annual Scientific Meeting & Showcase in New York, NY, Dec. 16-17, 2025, and each winner shall receive a complimentary full access registration to the event.
“These achievement awards honor significant contributions to the cosmetic sciences and to SCC, and are a lasting testament of hard work, dedication and excellence,” said Erica O’Grady, CAE, Chief Executive Officer of SCC.
“A highlight of our annual meeting is the peer recognition and celebration of the passion, people and industry.”
SCC is accepting nominations for the following 2025 Achievement Awards:
MAISON G. DENAVARRE MEDAL AWARD is the Society’s highest honor. It is named after SCC’s founder and recognizes an individual for accomplishments in activities supporting the best interests of the cosmetic industry through technical contributions. Membership in SCC is considered, but not required. Full award criteria and nomination form available here.
FLORENCE WALL WOMEN IN COSMETIC CHEMISTRY AWARD recognizes a woman for significant accomplishments in the cosmetic industry through technical contributions, leadership skills and business excellence. Membership in SCC preferred, but not required. Full award criteria and nomination form available here.
SCC EDUCATION AWARD recognizes an individual making outstanding contributions to the field of cosmetic science education and mentorship. Membership in SCC required. Full award criteria and nomination form available here.
ROBERT A. KRAMER LIFETIME SERVICE AWARD recognizes an individual for extraordinary service to and distinguished leadership within Society activities over the course of their membership. Membership in SCC required. Full award criteria and nomination form available here.
SCC MERIT AWARD recognizes an individual for outstanding service, distinguished leadership, and exceptional contributions to the Society on a National level. Membership in SCC required. Full award criteria and nomination form available here.
