SCC elects 2026 Executive Officers

The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) announced the organization’s 2026 Board of Directors.

Effective January 1, 2026, SCC’s Executive Officers are:

President Marisa Plescia (FemChem Beauty), Minneapolis, MN, SCC Twin Cities Chapter;
VP Perry Romanowski (Element 44, Inc.), Chicago, IL, SCC Midwest Chapter;
VP-Elect Valerie George (Simply Formulas), Dallas, TX, SCC Southwest Chapter;
Secretary Mindy Goldstein (Mindy S. Goldstein, PhD, Consulting), Elwood, NY, SCC Long Island Chapter; and
Treasurer Volodymyr Onyshchak (The Estée Lauder Cos.), Melville, NY, SCC Long Island Chapter.

“I am extremely honored to serve as SCC President in 2026,” said Plescia.

“My fellow Board members and I are committed to increased engagement and education opportunities for our members, expanding our community, and creating a strong future for the SCC.”

These elected leaders are joined by Immediate Past President Akshay Talati, RPh (Supergoop!) and IFSCC Representative Peter Tsolis (ELC), both of whom serve on the Board in an ex officio capacity.
