The Aerosol & Dispensing Forum (ADF), held within Paris Packaging Week, announced the winners of the 2026 ADF Innovation Awards on Feb. 4:
Winner: CosterEco Regulator, Coster Group
The CosterEco Regulator project was launched as the next generation of CosterEco technology, enabling compressed-gas aerosols (air, nitrogen) to deliver a consistent spray throughout the product’s lifetime. The goal was to extend this performance to more complex formulations, including viscous products or those containing particles, while remaining fully compatible with existing filling lines and standard valves (Ø 3.9 mm stem).
The solution needed to integrate a fully recyclable actuator, ensure safety under high pressure conditions of up to 10 bar, and meet the growing demand for sustainable, high-performance dispensing systems.
Winner: LINDAL FlipStraw
The FlipStraw project aimed to create a durable, lightweight, and easy-to-assemble 2-in-1 actuator, combining functionality and robustness while reducing plastic consumption. On average 3g lighter than comparable solutions, it was designed to ensure perfect sealing, leak-free transport and resistance to repeated opening and closing cycles, said Lindal.
Winner: SMART 35, Precision/ Vogue Women, Czech Aerosols
With an optimized weight of just 2.0g and requiring no additional overcap, SMART 35 is one of the lightest all-in-one aerosol actuators on the market, while delivering the same performance—including spray quality—as current, more complex and heavier actuators. Monobloc, made from a single resin, elegant, practical, and ultra-lightweight, SMART 35 stands out as a benchmark combining cost efficiency and sustainability, said Czech Aerosols and Precision.
Winner: ALUWOOD, Envases Group
This new 3D printing technology makes it possible to recreate the look and feel of wood on an aluminum container, faithfully replicating its texture and visual appearance, creating a sensory experience. The technology is available across Envases Groups full container range, from 30mL to 500mL, with multiple neck options (1″, screw neck, FEA15) and an aluminum content of up to 100% recycled PCR, without compromising mechanical strength or performance quality. It can also be combined with our fully integrated hot stamping process.
Winner: EZ Rotate Airless, Yonwoo
Until now, most eco-friendly refill systems were limited to round bottles, as the inner container had to be rotated to be attached or removed. With EZ Rotate Airless, the inner bottle is pushed downward through the rotation of the neck and shoulder assembly, making it possible to apply refill systems to a wide variety of bottle shapes, including square, oval, triangular or even star-shaped designs, well beyond the traditional round format. Made entirely from PP, PE and PET, Yonwoo noted this is a sustainable system that combines design freedom with durability.
