Entries open for BAMA Aerosol Awards

The British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (BAMA) announced that award entries are now open, including two new categories, for the 2026 BAMA’s Forum & Awards.

The (Members Only) Awards are now open, with a closing date for entries of August 28. An Award Entry Form can be downloaded here.

The BAMA Awards highlight company innovations, training programs and sustainability initiatives. The categories are:

  • Aerosol of the Year – a new aerosol product made and sold anywere in the world.
  • Aerosol Packaging – aerosol packaging made and sold anywherein the world. This can include the can/actuator/valve/new branding or update in design, etc.
  • Sustainability – (product or company-related) corporate social responsibility (CSR); reduction in carbon footprint; logistics innovation; manufacturing program innovation.
  • Process Safety and Training – (product or company related) training processes and new systems; apprenticeship schemes and HR initiatives; or relate to staff involvement and business safety in addition to the manufacturing element.
  • Aerosol in Action photography – Member companies are welcome to submit a relevant image of a product or process that illustrates the theme of “Aerosol in Action”.
  • **NEW CATEGORY in 2025** – Aerosol Marketing Campaign of the Year – This category is open to any aerosol-related marketing campaign promoting new or existing aerosol products/components, or new capabilities/services, marketed from Jan. 1, 2024.
  • **NEW CATEGORY in 2026** – Social & Community Initiative Award – Celebrating member companies that have made a meaningful impact by supporting local communities and/or participating in social initiatives.
  • **NEW CATEGORY in 2026** – Young Person of the Year Award –  Recognizing employees who have gone above and beyond in their work.

The BAMA Forum & Awards Dinner will take place on Oct. 21–22, at the East Midlands Conference Centre & Orchard Hotel, Nottingham, UK. BAMA has arranged a special members’ rate with the venue. The total cost of £325.00 +fees ($441 USD) will include accommodations on Oct. 21, the two-day Forum, lunch both days, breakfast on Oct. 22 and the Awards Dinner. Space is limited at Orchard Hotel, and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all places have been filled under BAMA’s allocation, accommodations will need to be sourced individually.

The Conference & Awards dinner is now open to Non-Members at a cost of £425.00 plus fees ($576 USD). Dinner guests are also invited at a rate of £90.00 plus fees ($122 USD), or dinner and accommodation at the rate of £325.00 plus fees ($440 USD) for members or £425.00 plus fees ($576 USD) for Non-Members, subject to availability.
