Nominations are open for HCPA Awards

The Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) announced that nominations are now open for its Allderdice Award and Next Gen Scholarship. The Awards will be presented during HCPA’s Annual Meeting on Dec. 6–9, 2026, at the Marriott Harbor Beach in Fort Lauderdale, FL. 

Charles E. Allderdice Jr. Memorial Award 

The Charles E. Allderdice Jr. Memorial Award is presented annually to an individual who has made exceptional contributions to HCPA and the household and commercial products industry. Please note that nominees must be an employee of a member company with a minimum of five years in the industry.

This award will be presented during the General Session on Monday, Dec. 7. The nomination form can be found here; please submit nominations to Allie Hayes by Friday, Oct. 16.

Next Gen Scholarship  

The Next Gen Scholarship encourages association participation from young professionals and/or member company employees who are new to the industry by providing complimentary attendance to HCPA’s Annual Meeting, as well as other exclusive benefits throughout the year. The nomination form can be found here.

Award Benefits 

  • Complimentary registration for the 2026 Annual Meeting, including up to three nights at the Marriott Harbor Beach.
  • Complimentary registration for any other HCPA events, webinars, or workshops in 2027, including the Mid-Year Meeting.

Award Criteria

  • Full-time employee of a member company
  • Must be in the earlier stages of one’s career (under 40) or new to the industry
  • One winner per company
  • Cannot be a recipient of the 2026 scholarship
  • Cannot be combined with any other registration promotion

Additionally, information for the 8th Annual Innovation Awards, presented by the Sustainability and Product Stewardship Council, will be available at the end of July.
