After many years, in 2026, the Midwest Aerosol Association (MAA) discontinued its sponsorship of the Aerosol Can Race with the Schaumburg Boomers professional baseball team in Schaumburg, IL.
The Boomers informed MAA that the Aerosol Can Race was one of its most popular between-inning events. The MAA is therefore pleased to announce that the Aerosol Can Race lives on, as a local construction company has picked up the sponsorship.
“The Aerosol Can Races remain a hit, just like the aerosol package,” said MAA.
Aerosol Can Race T-shirts are now also available to purchase for $25 at home stadium Wintrust Field, as well as the Boomers’ online shop HERE.
