In conjunction with the highly-anticipated Aug. 5 return of the hit Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso, Dove Men+Care has introduced a range of body care projects inspired by the plucky, optimistic U.S. football coach managing a British soccer team.
Designed to “smell great and bring a little optimism to your day,” the Dove Men+Care x Ted Lasso Limited Edition range includes antiperspirant sprays, deodorants, body wash and hair care. The collection’s packaging features quotes inspired by the show and optimistic scents.
The fragrances include Futbol is Life (sea salt and moss) and The Smell of Potential (bright citrus and amber), featuring the iconic blue and yellow paper sign taped in the AFC Richmond locker room; I Believe in Believe (cedarwood and lavender) in a package design inspired by the AFC Richmond club; The Scent of Curiosity (tropical fruit and driftwood) with a soccer ball prominently displayed on the package; and Heart of the Comeback (amber and musk), inspired by Ted’s never-give-up attitude and featuring his coach’s whistle.
