Aerofil produces, donates hand sanitizer to help fight COVID-19

Aerofil Technology, Inc., Sullivan, MO, has gained temporary approval from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) to use its liquids filling line to produce hand sanitizer in response to low global supplies

due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Aerofil is producing hand sanitizer for donation to health care personnel and first responders and for sale to consumers using the World Health Organization’s specified formula. Aerofil is producing an estimated 200,000 6-oz. bottles of hand sanitizer a week.
