The British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (BAMA) has launched the newly revised, 11th Edition, of THE INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT OF AEROSOLS: A BAMA Guide.
The 102-page guide covers the latest regulations on the transport of dangerous goods as they apply to aerosols and gives a comprehensive overview of the latest labeling requirements for transporting aerosols.
Aerosols are classified as dangerous goods for transport and the regulations require that any shipments must be fully declared and adequately packaged. This Guide provides valuable guidance on the complex legislation, covering UK and international transport of aerosols.
The Guide, which is free to BAMA members, is in an easy to use format, and covers how to consign aerosols for transport in Limited Quantities in each of the transport modes. The Guide includes advice on the classification, packaging, testing, marking, labelling, documentation and staff training needed, as well as the new rules for allowing aerosols to be sent by post in the UK.
Non-Members can obtain a copy of the guide by attending the Transport Course at a fee of £510 +VAT. Completing the booking form at www.bama.co.uk/courses with payment will grant you a place on the 28th April 2015.
