Which aerosol product category grew the most in 2017? Which fell?
To know what to expect in 2018–2019, businesses need powerful market data to guide investment, sales and development decisions. That’s why each year, the Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA), formerly known as the Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA), publishes a definitive industry report on the domestic aerosol market.
The HCPA Aerosol Pressurized Products Survey covers the biggest aerosol industry market factors—data that would normally cost thousands of dollars from market research firms.
Last year, the report covered 91% of the estimated industry total, including:
- Total production in ten different product categories
- The product categories with the largest production increases
- Subcategories within each category further breaking down the aggregate data
- Growth in valve and container manufacturing and shipping—including imports
The HCPA Aerosol Products Division Survey Committee works with an independent third-party firm, Association Research, Inc., to administer the survey and collect the data. The proprietary data provided by each manufacturer is only known to Association Research, Inc. and is not shared with anyone.
As in past years, HCPA Aerosol Products Division members are already planning to participate in the survey. If your company is new to HCPA or is interested in participating, please let us know.
If you are an aerosol manufacturer, filler or packaging component supplier who participates in the survey, you will receive a complimentary copy of the report when it is released in mid-2018.
Your participation also helps protect and strengthen the industry, as HCPA uses the report when meeting with legislators and regulators to emphasize the positive contribution the aerosol industry has on the U.S. economy.
